About Travel for Kids

Our Mission

Travel for Kids was born from a simple idea: the world is a more exciting place when children can see it — and history is a more exciting subject when they can hear its stories. We build beautifully illustrated offline apps for families, designed for children aged 4 to 12 and the grown-ups exploring alongside them.

Every app is crafted with care — illustrations, audio narrations, and “Did You Know?” curiosity cards that turn landmarks and civilizations into adventures children actually remember.

Two Collections, One Mission

Travel for Kids now ships two complementary lines of apps — one for exploring the world as it is today, one for exploring it as it was thousands of years ago.

Travel Guides — 9 city guides

Paris, Rome, London, Madrid, Barcelona, Tokyo, New York, Athens and Cairo. Each app is a complete family travel companion for its city, with themed sections covering landmarks, museums, food, culture and hidden gems. Kids do not just see the Eiffel Tower or the Colosseum — they hear the stories behind them.

History for Kids — 6 time-travel adventures

Ancient Rome, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Aztecs & Mayas, Samurai Japan and the Vikings. Six brand-new apps that bring the past to young explorers through nine themed sections each — warriors, gods, daily life, food, art, architecture and the “Did You Know?” details kids love to collect.

We understand what families need when traveling with children, and we care deeply about how an app behaves on a child’s screen. That is why every Travel for Kids app is:

As parents ourselves, children’s safety is our top priority. Our apps are fully compliant with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR. We collect zero data — not even anonymous analytics. App settings are protected by a parental gate so children can use the apps independently with peace of mind.
